Capistrano Beach model maker extraordinaire Malcolm Wilson, with a background as a marine and architectural modeler, has been successfully been applying those skills along with his considerable surf stoke to a remarkable series of limited edition surf pieces for the last five or six years. Malcolm has recently completed The Waterman, measuring 37" x 47", in an edition of twenty-five featuring the largest and most detailed diorama yet, depicting Dana Cove in the early 1960s, complete with miniature surfers, period autos and boards with lifelike translucent swells sweeping the cove.
